I approach each illustration project from two directions: one, from the result my client expects based upon view, the uses to which the illustrations will put, who the audience is, and the venue for display or presentation; two, from the raw materials given to me, I decide how best to create the illustrated vision that is desired.
The examples below shown represent different approaches and finished results that are most common selected by my clients. Sometimes the client and project demand a crisp look; other times, a more fuzzy, water-color look. Also since the starting point for all of the illustrations is a 3D model, the opportunity is there to provide many different views of the same project with little added cost.
Sometimes a night view of the same viewpoint can be helpful in illustrating the impact of a project.
